子供の頃よくやった遊びは何ですか？ 今回はMASHという、アメリカの子供の間で最も知られている占いの遊びをHaruna に紹介します。
What games did you play as a kid? In today’s episode, Kristina shows Haruna a fun fortune-telling game that most Americans have played as kids or at least know of. It reveals your future home, spouse, career and more by using chance and the process of elimination. Does it sound complicated to you? Don’t worry! It’s really not! Kristina: Oh wow! Ok. So, MASH. M. A. S. H. M is for mansion, like the big movie star style mansions in America. A is for apartment. S is for shack. H is for house. Alright.
First category. You pick 3 things and I pick 1. Names of your friends. Or your crushes. 3 names.
Haruna: Any names?
Kristina: Any name.
Haruna: Uuuum…Latricia. Kristina. Edward.
Kristina: Let’s put Andrew. You haven’t met him yet, but he’s on Listn.me

This game, uh, MASH, is a very popular game amongst kids and teenagers in America. I mean, um, most of my friends either have played it or know of the game.

MASH is a popular game amongst kids and pre-teens in America. It’s a silly and fun fortune-telling game where you determine your future spouse, living situation, offspring, and pets by chance and elimination.
MASHはアメリカの子供たちの間では人気ゲームです。楽しめる占いのゲームで、将来の結婚相手、家庭事情、子供の数、ペットなどを排除方法で決めて行きます。
First start by writing MASH on top of the paper.

These are the 4 types of homes you can have in the future.
これが将来持てる家の種類です。
Next, have your friend choose 3 names. And you can choose the 4th name. They can be anyone’s name….a celebrity, friend, crush, boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever! These are the 4 people who they might possibly marry in the future. If they’ve never played this game before and you don’t tell them it’s for a future spouse..it’s funny when they start listing only friends.

Great! Now that we have the categories covered we can start the for elimination process! Tell them that you will start to draw a swirl and it’s up to them when they tell you to stop.

Now count the number of rings and use that number to eliminate the the choices and find their future.
それで輪っかを数えて、その数字でチョイスを排除していくと段々とチョイスがなくなり、最後の１つが将来の予言です。
