「公式的」が直訳です。かなり計算されているとを表しています。
getting the audience pumped up
「お客さんのテンションを上げる」が直訳です。ここの「pumped 」は「テンション」です。これはテンションが上がるときにしか使いません。何かのイベントの前に使うと「楽しみ」です。イベント中でしたら「テンション」です。例：「I’m so pumped for this concert!」「このライブすごく楽しみ！」 「This song gets me pumped up!」「この曲テンションあがる！」
Counts for a lot
「価値がある」か「役に立つ」が１番近い訳です。この場合はこのバンドがお客さんのテンションを上げることが上手いことで、バンドとしてはかなり役に立つ。って言っています。他にも「the little details count for a lot」「細かい部分に価値がある」

Junko: This is Kristina
Kristina: And this is Jun
Junko: And today, we are here to introduce you to another Japanese band…or more like I’m here to introduce Kristina to another Japanese band. They’re called I-Rabbits. This is the latest album of theirs that I have that came out like, 3 years ago.
I first saw I-Rabbits play with uh, FLiP in Osaka, and I thought they were pretty cool. And then my friend gave me this CD…and…I, they just sounded the same.
Anyways, let me play you a song.
Kristina: You just look like you’re possessed.
Junko: So, that song was like their main song from their previous album, I think. And then, from this album…
Like, the first song I played for you was awhile back…and then..yea…there was…let me start over…
Kristina: Ok.
Junko: There was…yea! So what’d you think?
Kristina: They weren’t that bad. I liked it. It was catchy. Uh…it sounded nice. The only…I…you know, there are a lot of elements of it that I liked. There were parts that I heard, like um, I like, I enjoyed the use of the piano along with the heavy rock riffs. But there’s something about it that just seems really standard and formulaic like…this is a typical J-Pop, J-Rock band?
Junko: So, the one thing I, do enjoy about this band though, uh…live, they do an amazing job getting the audience pumped up. They are very good at that. Which I think…
Kristina: Counts for a lot
Junko: Yea
Kristina: As a musician
I’d want to see them live. I mean, it sounds like they’re a good time. But I would want to see like other artists. Like if they were playing at a festival, there were several artists, I’d be cool with it.
Junko: There’s this one song on this album, called uh I think it’s 幸連鎖. Which I enjoyed a lot because there’s this old band called Midnight Pumpkin, and they were a ska band.
Kristina: Yea
Junko: And they collaborated with them. And so they have the brass…its just…it’s fun. It brings in a different element in the song that they don’t have in other songs, which is really nice.
Yea, a lot of their songs are very emotional about love or friendship. And they are quite happy and optimistic. So…and you know, a lot of their songs are uptempo, so it makes you feel optimistic. And then they talk about being optimistic and how much they love humans. And then they cry because they’re so happy. They’re a very optimistic band.
Kristina: I don’t know if its the way you’re talking about it makes me question if they’re really optimistic.
Junko: No, they are. I’m being genuine about the optimism of this band.
Kristina: Oh, ok.
So Jun, how many skirts would you give them?
Junko: Oh no, I’m ask…that’s a question I need to ask you. So Kristina, how many skirts would you give them after listening to their song briefly?
Kristina: I feel like, I feel like 14 year old Kristina would be totally into them. You know? Yea keep…keep doing that. Weirdo. But me, not so much. I mean, they’re fine. If they were playing in the restaurant, I would be fine. I wouldn’t get up and leave.
Junko: Wait, is there a band that you would get and leave?
Kristina: Applicat Spectra.
Just kidding. Kind of. Not kidding.
Junko: I’m not. I’m dead serious.
Kristina: Yea, no, I’d have to give them a two. I don’t…two’s not a bad score, is it?
Junko: I think it is. I would give them three.
Kristina: Ok, let’s give them three.
Junko: But that’s because 20…19, 20 year old Junko really liked them.
Kristina: Ok, let’s give them a three.

Junko: それで今日はまた日本のバンドを紹介しにきました…ってより、Kristinaに日本のバンドを紹介しにきました。I-Rabbitsって言います。これは私が持ってる一番最新のアルバムだけど、３年前のかな。
最初I-Rabbits観たのはFLiPと大阪で対バンしてて、結構気に入ってね。それで友達がこのCDくれて…それで…なんか、全部同じような感じに聴こえてね。
とにかく、曲聴いてみて。
Kristina: 取り憑かれてるみたい。
Junko: その曲は一個前のアルバムの押し曲だと思う。それで、このアルバムからは…
最初の曲は結構前…それで…うん…それで…リスタートするね。
Kristina: うん
Junko: なんかさ…うん！それでどう思った？
Kristina: 悪くなかったよ。良かった。キャッチーだし。うぅ…良い音してた。ただ…私…あの、好きな部分はたくさんあるのね。聴こえたとこからは、たとえば、ピアノとヘビーロックを合わせたのはすごく好きだった。でも、なんか、すごく作り上げた感じがするの…そこらへんのJ-Pop、J-Rockバンドと一緒。
Junko: １つだけこのバンドでかなり気に入ってるのがあるのね…ライブで、お客さんのテンションを上げるの。すごく上手いの。それってさ…
Kristina: 結構重要だよ
Junko: そう
Kristina: ミュージシャンとして。
ライブで見てみたいね。結構楽しそうじゃん。でも他のアーティストも見たいね。例えばフェスとかに出てて他にも沢山アーティストがいたら、見たいね。
Junko: このアルバムから一曲、確か「幸連鎖」だったっけ。結構気に入ったんだよね、昔、Midnight Pumpkinってスカやってたバンドがいるんだけど
Kristina: うん
Junko: コラボしたのね。それでブラスがあって…なんか…楽しい。他の曲にはない部分があってね、良いと思う。
このバンドの曲ほとんどかなり感情的で、愛や友情のことなの。すごくハッピーで楽観的なの。だから…ね、ほとんどアップテンポだから楽観的な感情になるの。それで、楽観的なことや人間が好きってことを話したりして。そして嬉しすぎて泣くの。かなり楽観的なバンド。
Kristina: 言い方なのか分からないけど、本当に楽観的なのか疑う。
Junko: いや、楽観的だよ。本気の意味で言ってるよ、楽観的だって。
Kristina: あ、そう。
それでJun、何スカートあげる？
Junko: あ、ダメ、私が…私があなたに聞く質問でしょ。で、Kristina、曲をちょっとだけ聴いたところで、何スカートあげる？
Kristina: なんかね…たぶん、14歳のKristinaはかなりハマると思う。そう思わない？うん、それ…それやり続けて。変なの。でも私は、あまりかな。いや、普通に良いと思うよ。レストランで流れてても、大丈夫。立ち上がって帰ったりはしない。
