5/24.25 に横浜赤レンガ倉庫でおこなわれたGREENROOM FESTIVAL シリーズの最終回。Junko とKristina がフェスティバルを振り返って語ります。

Just a quick review of the day we spent at the Green Room Festival and a view from our favorite rooftop in Shibuya! Watch us fidget uncomfortably in the hot hot sun.

10歳まで日本で育った後、アメリカで青春時代を過ごし、大学時代に再び来日。日米ハーフのバイリンガル。学生時代はライブハウスでアルバイトするほどの音楽好きで、特に邦楽インディーズシーンに造詣が深い。

Kristina

アメリカの大学卒業後、アーティスト、格闘家など様々な職業を経て来日。現在は女子プロレスラーとしても活躍しつつ Listn.me の盛り上げ役として笑顔とユーモアを振りまく存在。常に何かを食べている腹ペコモンスター。

Junko: Alright…well..the Green Room Festival!

Kristina: That was fun!

Junko: It was a lot of fun..um..

Kristina: What was your favorite part?

Junko: Gabrielle Alpine. She was actually one of the only artist I knew going into that festival and I bought her album..a couple months ago actually. So..it was awesome being able to see her perform live.

Kristina: Yeah, it was my first time to see her. And hear her music..she was sooo cute!

Junko: She was.

Kristina: And she was like lively…

Junko: I uh liked how she was so quick, cause she just wanted to play all the songs. Most artists they stop and they talk or they take a break. But she was just like <guitar noise> done. Piano.

Kristina: Like, listen to all of my music!

Junko: Everything.

Kristina: Which we all appreciated. I liked the event..the vendors in the beginning. I wanted to buy everything.

Junko: Yeah.

Kristina: But I have no money.

Junko: The vendors..yeah all of those were fun. Ok! Gabriella Alpine…what do you rate her?

Kristina: ..ohh….

Junko: I’m gonna give her 4 1/2 skirts.

Kristina: I’m gonna give her 4 skirts…only because it’s not usually the type of music I listen to! Preferences! But I did enjoy her performance..a lot! Well..? Yeah no…I’ll give her 4.

Junko: I’m giving her 4 1/2 because I was very excited to see her. How many skirts would you give the Green Room..the Green Room Festival?

Kristina: The Green Room Festival..was really chill..relaxed..it was so different from anything in America.

Junko: It was ..and definitely compared to all of the Japanese festivals that I’ve been to. I mean..they were ok with people bringing food in..

Kristina: BEER.

Junko: Bringing drinks in…and they had hammocks all over the place.

Kristina: Yeah.

Junko: As you guys saw earlier. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a festival that has hammocks. But the Green Room Festival was definitely an awesome fest..I enjoyed it a lot..um..but as Kristina said..preferences..a lot of the bands that were there…not the type of music I really listen to..but it fit the mood so well. So I enjoyed it all.

Kristina: Yeah. It was a nice summer festival to go to, a nice way to kick off the summer, I think.

Junko: Exactly, I agree. A nice way to kick off the summer. And it wasn’t the best weather..but I think I’m..I might..I’m kind of happy that it was cloudy.

Kristina: Yeah ‘cause if it was like this weather..super sunny.

Junko: I would be dead.

Kristina: Yeah. I’m sweating. We’re wearing too much clothing. Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do…

Junko: I can’t take it off.

Kristina: ..do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do OK.

Junko: No.

Kristina: But yeah, ANYWAYS..thanks for checking us out!

K：　すごい楽しかった！

J：　そうね、楽しかった

K：　なにが一番だった？

J：　 Gabrielle Alpineね。参加アーティスのなかでもともと知っていた数少ないアーティスだったし、数か月前にアルバムを買ったばっかりだったし。ライブで観れて嬉しかった！
