先月15周年を迎えた「ファイト・クラブ」、Kristinaが大好きなこの映画について、魅力を二人が語ります！

Last month, the popular movie “Fight Club” welcomed its 15 year anniversary. Kristina’s favorite movie, the two talk about the reasons why they like the movie.

Jun: What?

Kris: Guess who I’m drawing..

Jun: She doesn’t know how to draw.

Kris: Shutup! Hold on..oh! There we go!

Jun: Oh you were feeling your own abs? Ninja turtle.

Kris: No….They’re abs. I’m drawing Brad Pitt!

Hi guys!

Jun: Hey!

Kris: So recently…do you like my Brad Pitt?

Jun: He’s gonna be offended if he sees this.

Kris: Shutup! Recently it was the 15^th Annivesary of Fight Club the movie.

Jun: Yes it was.

Kris: Have you ever seen the movie?

Jun: I actually did watch it recently um

Kris: ..why?

Jun: Thanks to this person..who would not leave me alone until I watched it.

Kris: It’s my favorite movie. Now..I saw Fight Club when it first came out…um…

Jun: 15 years ago?

Kris: 15 years ago..

Jun: You’re so old!

Kris: I was 15! Oh whoa! Ah…yeah…when I saw it I wasn’t supposed to watch it…because it was Rated R. But you know…I’m a good kid. So of course I watched it! So for me when I was a teenager…It held a very profound message. About…what people held important in society. You know…a big thing for characters of that film were…that they were unsatisfied with the consumerism lifestyle.

Jun: MmmhmMm

Kris: Fight Club made me want to challenge social norms…CONSTANTLY. And as a teenager you kind of want to do that regardless…I like that it’s coming back again. You know it’s 15 years later…I think it’s important for people to see.

Jun: And I think it’s important for people to understand the message…

Kris: FIGHT! Just kidding…just kidding…

Jun: I mean not just about…the violence…I think there’s a lot more to be…that needs to be understood in the film. And I think that’s what’s really important.

Kris: I mean if you look at the world today…at least if you look at America today…where are we financially? Where are we with the credit card debt? Where are we with the education debt? It’s all kinda like…Hey we had a problem 15 years ago…and we didn’t face it and this is what’s happening…

Jun: So some theaters in Japan for the 15^th year anniversary will be showing Fight Club again! And I think that’s pretty cool. Will it subtitled? Or will it be lip dubbed?

Kris: Probably…I don’t think I would wanna see it if it was dubbed.

Jun: No I wouldn’t either. So…if a local theater near you is playing it you should go down there and watch it. Big screen…

Kris: ABS. MORE OF THESE.

Jun: ABS. …it looks like a ninja turtle.

Kris: Shutup.

Kris: Last week?

Jun: Yeah. For a while now. So we are now going to pick the winner for this key…and um…yeah!

Jun: No that’s not working. Close your eyes.

Kris: Oh…

Kris: I don’t trust you.

Jun: Ok.

Kris: Can I open my eyes now?

Jun: Yup!

Kris: 何描いてるか当ててみて…

Jun: 彼女絵の描きかた知らないの。

Kris: うるさい！待って…あ！これだ！

Jun: 自分の腹筋触ってたの？忍者タートル。

Kris: 違う…腹筋だよ。私はブラピを描いてたの！

やぁ、みんな！

Jun: やぁ！

Kris: 最近…私のブラピ好き？

Jun: これ見たらかなり気分悪くなるよ。

Kris: うるさい！最近「Fight Club」の１５周年だったよね。

Jun: うん、そうだね。

Kris: その映画見たことある？

Jun: 実は、最近見たんだよね

Kris: …なんで？

Jun: この人が…見るまでほっといてくれないからさ

Kris: 一番好きな映画なんだ。それで…私が最初に「Fight Club」見たときは上映したときなの…えっと…

Jun: １５年前？

Kris: １５年前…

Jun: 年寄りだね！

Kris: 15歳だったよ！あ、うわぁ！え…うん…見たときは本当は見ちゃだめだったの…R18だったから。でもね…優等生だったから。もちろん見たよ！ティーンエイジャーの私にとってはね…かなり強いメッセージがこもってたの。社会では人がどんなことを基準にしてたか。それでさ…映画のキャラクターたちにとっては消費者運動の生活で満たされてなかったの。

Jun: うん

Kris: 「Fight Club」見ると社会規範とかに反抗したくなってた…常に。それでティーンエイジャーってさ、何があってもそうしたいじゃない戻ってきてること、嬉しい15年後だけど…この映画を見るのは重要だと思う。

Jun: どんなメッセージを送ってるか理解するのも重要だと思う…

Kris: 喧嘩しろ！冗談…冗談…

Jun: それだけじゃないんだよね…暴力の部分…それよりもっといろんなことがこの映画にあると思うんだよね。そこが一番重要だと思う。

Kris: だって、今の世界を見るとさ…まぁ、仮にアメリカだけだとしても…金銭的な面とか？今のクレジットの借金？今の教育の借金？なんだろう…１５年前も問題抱えてて…そのときちゃんと対応しなかったから今があるんだよ。

Jun: 15周年ってことで、日本国内の映画館何カ所か「Fight Club」を再上映するみたいだよ！それって嬉しいことだね。字幕あるの？それとも吹き替えられるの？

Kris: たぶん…吹き替えだったら見たくない。

Jun: 私も。だから…近くの映画館で上映されてたら見にいた方がいいよ。大きい画面で。

Kris: 腹筋。こうゆうのもっと。

Jun: 腹筋…ただの忍者タートルに見える
